In 2014, The Journal of Patient Experience was founded in affiliation with The Cleveland Clinic Office of Patient Experience. Their philanthropic funding contributions continue to empower our mission today. The Cleveland Clinic is a nonprofit multispecialty academic medical center that integrates clinical and hospital care with research and education.
ICHOM
We partner with ICHOM on a special collection of articles, “Exploring the Relationship between Patient Experience, Health Outcomes, and Value-based Care.” We encourage submissions from the ICHOM community, as well as all who wish to contribute to the value-based care conversation with research and actionable insights. Learn more about the call for submissions. ICHOM's mission is to unlock the potential of value-based healthcare by defining what matters most to patients.
The Arnold P. Gold Foundation
The Arnold P. Gold Foundation champions humanism in healthcare, which they define as kind, safe, trustworthy care. This Gold standard of care embraces all and targets barriers to such care. The Gold Foundation empowers experts, learners, and leaders to together create systems and cultures that support humanistic care for all. In affiliation with The Gold Foundation, the Journal released a new Special Collection in December 2024: “The Intersection of Humanism in Healthcare and Patient Experience.”
Patient Experience Symposium
The Journal supports this important industry event that convenes professionals, leaders, researchers, patient representatives, and industry experts for an annual in-person event. The event is hosted by ICD, an International Conference Development group connecting healthcare professionals from around the world to share knowledge, expertise, and best practices.
